Offering Hope

"EVERYONE should have access to integrative, terrain-focused physicians, support and integrative tools in their healing journey.
We each deserve to be seen as the individual that we are." Layce Murray
We each deserve to be seen as the individual that we are." Layce Murray
My name is Layce, (pronounced like Lay-see) 🌻
I am the founder of Hope Anchors. I started HopeAnchor.org in response to an overwhelming need I have seen in the breast cancer healing community. I have spent the last several years on my own healing journey with breast cancer and know first hand the unique challenges it brings to women, their families, and the financial devastation that often follows a diagnoses.
I created, and facilitate, several online breast cancer support groups. These groups now have over 7,000+ individuals in them and grow daily; often by 20+ new members. We have women, sisters, friends, husbands, parents, and partners join these spaces desperate for "integrative" answers and tools to help themselves, or a loved-one, navigate through this diagnoses and to find HOPE.
⚓️ Cancer just doesn’t happen overnight - it is a process - NOT an event. ⚓️
No one thinks cancer will ever touch “their” life; I know I didn't. I had no family history of cancer, as many don’t. Sadly however, breast cancer is now at epidemic numbers in the USA and the world; I wish I was being overly dramatic about that. One of the most frightening trends I am seeing in the cancer groups I run is the alarming number of breast cancer diagnoses among YOUNG, 20 and 30-year-olds. We are losing too many women, too young, too soon, and with devastating effects on families and our communities - and we do NOT have to! We CAN change the outcomes and the trends. This epidemic is preventable. There are so many things we can do to fix this!
Hope Anchors was created to support those already diagnosed that are pushing for the best outcomes and trying to stay on this planet. However - we must all also do the deeper work of fixing the root causes of why so many humans are getting cancers in the first place - of all kinds and at all ages. We owe this to ourselves, our children, and future generations.
Let’s change the conversations and not only change outcomes for those walking through a cancer healing journey - but prevent the tsunami from continuing.
⚓️ Hope Anchors offers
Please consider helping us reach those that desperately need this help. Help us support mothers so they can raise their kids and kids so they can have their mothers. Help us ease the burden, if just a little, of the stress and anxiety that comes in the wake of a diagnoses for an entire family. No one goes through a diagnoses alone; it touches everyone in our lives and it creates upheaval in every area of our lives.
Everyone should have access to education, integrative physicians, support, and tools that will help them reach the best outcomes. Money should not be the determining factor in access to integrative care and tools. One family at a time - we are going to help change that.
Be an ANCHOR OF HOPE. ⚓️
Help lighten the load of a very heavy journey.

⚓️ Hope Anchors offers
- Education for TRUE prevention, awareness, and resources that help address the many root causes of a cancering process. We are our own best advocates and this means we must actively participate and learn what is needed to keep and restore our health. Education was pivotal for me in my own journey. I often say I received my PhD at the "Save Your Ass University" through this process. I couldn't have done any of it alone. I have had some amazing mentors, doctors, family and friends. I did (and still do), show up each day to do what is needed to stay well and continue to educate myself and learn.
- Support Groups for those that have been diagnosed that help navigate the unique challenges that come with a cancer diagnoses.
- Healing Team: Access and financial help to expand healing teams to include INTEGRATIVE ONCOLOGY, which has been shown to provide the best outcomes.
- Test and Tools: Access and financial help to purchase integrative testing and lab work that is needed for an integrative medical team to adequately assess what a patient needs, and what treatments are most appropriate for that individual.
- Hope. At the end of the day, Hope Anchors is really about HOPE. Not the wishy, washy kind of HOPE, but the solid, firmly rooted kind of hope that is offered when you, as Dr Winter's says, "test, assess and address a patient as an individual; as a N=1". When we do this, it changes the ENTIRE conversation as well as the outcomes!
